Employability Orientation Program (EOP) in Food & Agribusiness Management

INTRODUCTION

India is the most youthful nation in the world which can fulfil the demand of skilled manpower around the world. It has clearly being recognised the importance of food & agri business management post pandemic. World’s population is expected to grow to almost 10 billion by 2050 demanding Innovative Food Processing techniques and agriculture production. Decline in the share of agriculture in total production and organized employment is taking place at different speeds and poses different challenges across regions. In a country like India, food processing and agricultural sector plays a vital role in constructing and supporting the GDP. The country which depends on agriculture, needs to have a dynamic and innovative skilled manpower.

Young graduates studying in Agriculture Universities/allied colleges are the once who can boost the holistic development by rendering desired skills and help in the growth of Food & Agribusiness Sector.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

ELIGIBILITY

  • Undergraduates studying in third /Second Last/Final year of their degree program those who are in the search of job opportunities
  • Preferably studying in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Agriculture Marketing, Home Science, Food Processing, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Plant Sciences, Agriculture Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology and allied Sciences. Candidates who are in final year of the degree program can also apply, but they will have to submit their passing mark sheet before Aug during the academic sessions.

Evaluation to be done based on Academic Performance, Group Discussion and Personal Interview

ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION

  • Assessment and evaluation shall include Online Quizzes, Examination, Offline assignment & presentations after every module.
  • 80% attendance shall be compulsory for availing certificate
